Dr. Uma Menon is an adult epileptologist who has practiced in academic and non-profitorganizations during her career. She has also led and initiated neurology residencyprograms at premier institutions in the country.She is a Fellow of ANA and other professional neurological organizations, and she serves incommittees for several of these organizations, including the IDEAS committee and globalengagement committees of ANA.She is a strong patient and physician advocate, with ongoing participation in patient andpublic education as well as legislative efforts. Her interests include neurology/epilepsy,education, health access and equity, ethics in medicine and health literacy.
