Description

In this session participants will get to meet the editors of Annals of Neurology, Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology ("ACTN") and the Annals of the Child Neurology Society (ACNS). Participants will get to better understand the specific areas of interest of the three journals and the process for submitting manuscripts and how they are reviewed.

  • Enhancing Biomedical Writing Skills

    Description

    This interactive workshop is designed to help less experienced medical writers overcome common barriers to successful publication. We make extensive use of text examples to illustrate common avoidable reasons for manuscript rejection and highlight ways to improve manuscript clarity. We review useful techniques for overcoming writer’s block and discuss strategies to optimize manuscript revision and resubmission.
