Visitor Visa Information & Requirements

Be sure to plan ahead to ensure you meet the visa/travel requirements to enter the United States. We understand in some areas of the world, there continue  to be delays in obtaining a visa to enter the United States. We strongly encourage you to apply for your Visa as soon as possible as waiting times for an interview can be extremely long. The following resources will help you navigate this process.

Request a Letter of Invitation
Individuals who have registered for the meeting and who require an official letter of invitation to obtain a visa and authorization to attend the 149th Annual Meeting of the American Neurological Association (ANA2024) must submit a request to Jennifer Summers at jsummers@myana.org. Please include "Letter of Invitation" in the subject line, your name as it appears on your passport, address, passport information and email to process the electronic, official letter of invitation. Letters of invitation will be processed within 48-72 business hours.

The letter of invitation does not financially obligate the American Neurological Association in any way. All expenses incurred in relation to the meeting are the sole responsibility of the attendee.

Questions about the Visa Process?
If you require a visa to enter the United States, or have questions about the visa process, please check with your local U.S. Embassies and Consulates to obtain the necessary documentation as soon as possible. The ANA is not able to assist with the visa application process, as the decision to issue a visa is within the sole judgment of your local embassy or consulate. Please plan ahead to avoid a delay of your travel plans. We look forward to welcoming you to Orlando!

*ANA's hours of operation are 8:30am - 5:00pm ET.
