Dr. Albert A. (Gus) Davis, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Davis earned his BS and PhD degrees at Emory University and his MD at Vanderbilt University. Following residency at Washington University, Dr. Davis pursued fellowship training in Movement Disorders and postdoctoral research training with Dr. David Holtzman, studying the role of apolipoprotein E in the pathophysiology of synucleinopathies. Dr. Davis sees patients in the Washington University Movement Disorders Center. His laboratory research focuses on molecular mechanisms of protein aggregation and neurodegeneration, and he participates in several multi-center clinical and translational consortia.
