Dr. Mary Alissa Willis is a multiple sclerosis specialist, passionate neurology educator, and transformative leader in academic neurology.  After residency at University of Mississippi Medical Center and fellowship at Cleveland Clinic, she served in multiple clinical and leadership roles at Cleveland Clinic.  In 2019, she returned to her alma mater to lead the UMMC Department of Neurology and to develop a pipeline of neurologists for an underserved area while remaining active in clinical practice and clinical research. She has received local and national recognition for her contributions to neurology education as faculty and as chair. She currently serves as vice chair of neurology and section head of general neurology for the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute.
