Dr. Charlene Gamaldo is a Professor at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine with joint appointments in psychiatry, nursing, anesthesiology, and public health, vice chair for faculty development in the Neurology Department and Associate Vice Provost of the JHU Provost's Leadership, Advancement and Development Academy. Dr. Gamaldo received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Virginia, she earned her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine, and after completing her neurology residency at the University of North Carolina Hospital, she became the first neurology sleep fellow at Johns Hopkins in 2004. She has over 122 scholarly works in the areas of sleep medicine research, medical education, and academic career development.
