David Geldmacher, MD, FACP, FANA

Dr. David Geldmacher joined UAB in 2011. He serves as Professor, Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs, and Director of the Division of Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology. He holds the Warren Family Endowed Chair in Neurology. He leads UAB Hospital’s interprofessional Brain Aging and Memory Clinic and the clinical trials program in the UAB Alzheimer’s Disease Center. His research has focused on clinical meaningfulness of treatments for Alzheimer’s disease. He undertook his Neurology training at Case Western Reserve University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Behavioral Neurology at the University of Florida.
