Dr. Edilberto Amorim is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of California, San Francisco practicing as a critical care neurologist and epileptologist at the Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Dr. Amorim’s laboratory focuses on invasive and non-invasive brain monitoring of patients with acute brain injury such as cardiac arrest, traumatic brain injury, and stroke. His group is developing tools to enable multimodal integration of brain monitoring and bio-signals time series to neuroimaging and electronic health care data. He has a particular interest in coma neuroscience and advancing physiology-driven therapies in neurocritical care.
