Erik Musiek, MD, PhD

Dr. Erik Musiek is the Hagemann Professor of Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and Co-Director of the Center On Biological Rhythms And Sleep (COBRAS). His lab studies circadian clocks, glia, neuroinflammation, and neurodegenerative diseases. He is a clinical investigator at the Knight Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center and a practicing neurologist specializing in dementia. He is the current chair of the NIH BNRS study section and a member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation. He completed MD/PhD training at Vanderbilt University, neurology residency at University of Pennsylvania, and postdoctoral training in dementia at Washington University.
