Ewa Ziolkowska, PhD

Dr. Ewa Ziółkowska recently completed her PhD studies in Poland and is now a postdoctoral training fellow at Washington University in St. Louis. She works in Dr. Jonathan Cooper's lab, investigating the effects of CLN1, CLN2, and CLN3 diseases. Her research focuses on the CNS as well as the impact of these diseases outside the brain, particularly on the bowel, muscles, and peripheral nerves, and whether these can be treated with gene therapy.
