Gwenn Garden, MD, PhD, FANA

Dr. Gwenn Garden, MD, PhD, FANA currently serves as Neurology Department Chair at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Medicine. She completed her MD/PhD training at the University of Washington, followed by residency training in Internal Medicine and Neurology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Longwood Neurology Training Program. During her early faculty career, she pursued research interests in neurodegenerative disorders and neuroinflammation at the University of Washington from 2000-until being appointed to her current position in 2019. Dr. Garden also currently serves as co-director and co-PI of the Duke/UNC Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.
