Katelyn McNamara graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience. She is currently in her final year of medical school at Loyola University Chicago Stitch School of Medicine and will be applying to Neurology residency this cycle. She recently completed a dedicated vascular neurology research fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine in the group of Dr. Richa Sharma, MD. Katelyn’s research interests include the association of racial and social determinant of health disparities in stroke incidence and multidisciplinary neuro-cardiology management.
