Dr. Patricia E. Greenstein, MBBCh. Dr. Greenstein is the Neurology Residency Program Director in the Department of Neurology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). She was previously the Associate Program Director for 5 years. She is the Director of the Neurogenetics Clinic and teaches in the HMS Foundations Course. She is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School (HMS). She has received multiple teaching awards, including the S. Robert Stone Award and multiple teaching awards from the Department of Medicine at BIDMC.In her clinical role, Dr. Greenstein serves as the Chief of the Division of General Neurology in the BIDMC neurology department, where she maintains an active clinical practice, precepts multiple resident clinics and runs the Neurogenetics Clinic. She graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa and pursued her neurology residency training at the Harvard Longwood Brigham-BIDMC - Boston Children’s Hospital program. She then completed a fellowship in genetics and Neurogenetics at the University of Washington in Seattle.
