Peter Kang, MD, MSCI

Dr. Peter Kang is a neurologist, intensivist and clinical/translational scientist at Washington University School of Medicine, where he is currently an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Program Director for the Neurology Residency Program. His research focuses on elucidating pathophysiological mechanisms underlying cerebral small vessel disease and vascular contributions to cognitive impairment primarily using multimodal neuroimaging methods. He is particularly interested in understanding the physiologic responses of the intrinsically vulnerable human brain in crisis. He is also passionate about working with residents and training the next generation of neurologists and scientists through collaborative, multi-disciplinary approaches.
