Sandeep Khot, MD, MPH

Dr. Sandeep Khot is Professor of Neurology at the University of Washington and a stroke neurologist. His research is focused on sleep health and the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea after stroke. He has been a principal investigator on several research studies in sleep-disordered breathing after stroke, including the Stroke and CPAP Outcomes (SCOUTS) studies evaluating early treatment of CPAP during stroke rehabilitation with the goal of improving functional stroke recovery. SCOUTS3 investigators are currently collaborating with researchers at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center to develop a feasible and promising behavioral intervention to improve CPAP adherence during stroke rehabilitation.
