Thomas Foutz, MD, PhD (Emerging Scholar)

Dr. Thomas Foutz, an MD, PhD child neurologist, is an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Neurology at Washington University in St. Louis. He holds a degree in Biophysics from Johns Hopkins University and completed an MD/PhD in Medicine and Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University. He completed his Child Neurology residency at Seattle Children's Hospital and then a fellowship in epilepsy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Foutz's work in computational neuroscience, neurostimulation, and seizure detection positions him at the crossroads of innovative electrical therapies for epilepsy.
