Dr. Tim Requarth is a Lecturer in Science & Writing at the Vilcek Institute of Graduate Biomedical Sciences at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where he develops core science and science communication curriculum for PhD students. Dr. Requarth is also an award-winning science journalist and contributing writer at Slate, and his articles have been featured in The New York Times, The Atlantic, The New Republic, Foreign Policy and Scientific American, among other publications. He holds a PhD in neuroscience and writes a monthly column on AI and writing for The Transmitter, a new publication for the neuroscience community.
