Wael Asaad, MD, PhD

Dr. Wael Asaad MD, PhD, is the Director of Functional and Epilepsy Neurosurgery, Associate Program Director of the Neurosurgery Residency Training Program, Director of the Functional and Epilepsy Fellowship Program, and Vice Chair for Research in the Department of Neurosurgery. He earned his BA from Amherst College, his MD from Yale University, and his PhD in Systems Neuroscience from MIT. He completed a residency in neurosurgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital in 2010 and has been at Brown University since 2011.
