Dr. Wayne Feng is the Chief of the stroke Division, and Professor of Neurology and Biomedical Engineering at Duke Univ. His research portfolios include developing imaging biomarker to predict motor recovery, and use of brain stimulation tools, such as, transcranial direct current stimulation, vagus nerve stimulation, and focused ultrasound to enhance stroke recovery. He is currently leading a 12-center, phase II study called TRANSPORT 2 (TRANScranial direct current stimulation for POst-stroke motor Recovery – a phase II sTudy). He has published 150+ manuscripts. He is the Section Chair of Neural Repair & Rehabilitation (AAN).
