Ahmed Abdelhak, MD (Emerging Scholar)

Dr. Ahmed Abdelhak is an Instructor and Attending physician in the Department of Neurology at UCSF. He earned his medical degree from Ain Shams University in 2012 and completed his Neurology residency, clinical Ph.D., and neuroimmunology training at Ulm and Tübingen University Hospitals in Germany. He holds a master’s degree in Neuroscience from Bordeaux University. In 2024, he completed his postdoctoral training and translational neuroimmunology fellowship at Ari Green’s Lab. His research focuses on using soluble biomarkers to study neurological conditions. Dr. Abdelhak has received awards from the German Multiple Sclerosis Society, Department of Defense, and UCSF Weill Institute for Neuroscience.
