Dr. Alison Christy is the clinical director of the pediatric neurology program at Providence Health and Services in Portland, Oregon, and Deputy Editor of the Journal of Child Neurology. She is Chair of the History of Neurology Section of the American Academy of Neurology and has an interest in the history of diverse people in neurology, winning the AAN’s 2023 Tyler Award and the 2024 Lawrence McHenry Award. With Dr. Zach London of the University of Michigan, she made games featuring women from the history of medicine, called Endowed Chairs: Neurology and Pediatrics; and Neurdle, a Wordle-like neurology game; and other neurology-related puzzle games, including the AAN Annual meeting’s Charcot’d Breakers.
