Dr. Michael Guo, MD, PhD is an Instructor in Cognitive Neurology. He completed neurology residency at the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently completed subspecialty training in cognitive neurology in the Penn Memory Center. His research is focused on understanding how a form of genetic variation called short tandem repeats promotes risk of Alzheimer’s disease. His work integrates a broad range of computational, genetics, and genomics methods in cell models and in post-mortem brain tissue.
