Dr. Michael Hehir is the James F. Howard Jr. M.D. Professor of Neuromuscular Disorders and Division Chief of Neuromuscular Medicine in the Department of Neurological Sciences at the Robert Larner, MD College of Medicine at the University of Vermont. He is leading multi-center projects to design and validate a novel measure of treatment related adverse event burden, to evaluate the feasibility and utility of a remote monitoring system for patients with myasthenia gravis, and to evaluate the best way to wean medications in patients with stable myasthenia gravis. He also serves as the director of the UVM neuromuscular medicine fellowship.
