Dr. Shirin Jamal Omidi, MD completed medical school and neurology residency in Tehran, Iran where she actively engaged in various research projects in the field of neurology. Upon relocating to the United States, she pursued a passion for research and clinical care by becoming research fellow in epilepsy at University Hospitals, Case Western University, and the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She then embarked on a residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Currently, she is an epilepsy fellow at Mayo Clinic, and her areas of interest encompass autoimmune epilepsy and surgical epilepsy.
