Description
This workshop will focus on the challenges facing those dedicated to the medical education within an academic neurology program. How does one begin on the path and ultimately succeed. Speakers will discuss the strategies for becoming a program director and navigating promotion as well as the most common challenges facing academic programs and resources available to the leadership team.

We will review tools and techniques to successfully advocate for their own growth and the advancement of their programs.

DescriptionThis session will discuss how to prioritize and manage the varied roles, responsibilities, and challenges facing a neurology program director and discuss best practices for creating a successful residency program.
Starting Out: Becoming an APD and Navigating Promotion
DescriptionThis session will focus on the process of becoming an associate program director (APD), establishing your role as an APD, professional development as an APD, and navigating the transition to program director.
