dr. Claire Henchcliffe, M.D., D.Phil. is the Chair and Stanley van den Noort Professor of Neurology, University of California, Irvine. Following graduate training at the University of Oxford she completed residency and fellowship training at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University. Subsequently she developed her clinical and research focus on Parkinson’s disease at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center becoming Vice Chair for Clinical Research. She is a clinical trialist working to develop new Parkinson’s disease therapeutics, including stem cell-based interventions and of gene therapy. She also has a strong interest in fostering career development in both local and national forums.
